Visiting Lecturer Winter Semester 2026/27
Founded by Lisa Ertel and Anne-Sophie Oberkrome, Studio Πis a Berlin-based design practice. Both studied product design at HfG Karlsruhe.
Their work spans from self-initiated projects in furniture and object design to multidisciplinary collaborations and industrial design commissions for international companies such as Mattiazzi and recently Vitra. Guided by a fascination for the inherent qualities of materials and everyday phenomena, the duo creates works that tell unconventional stories about the spatial and social contexts in which their projects evolve. They are also active in various collaborative working constellations such as FAN, Farm, and Many-to-Many, where they realize self-initiated projects and exhibitions.
Lisa and Anne-Sophie have been teaching at HfbK Hamburg and as guest professors at the HBK Saar and HfG Karlsruhe. The planned to to take a quite year out of teaching, but were interested to get on board with Design & Social Context in 2026’s wintersemester project: HABITS, HABITATION & COHABIT
