Durrell Bishop works as a product and interaction designer at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds. Originally trained in industrial design, he is fascinated by how objects and their behavior can make complex systems tangible. He has conducted research and design work at Interval Research, IDEO, Google, and Apple, while simultaneously building his own companies, manufacturing products, creating installations, and teaching at the Royal College of Art. In 2026, after six years, he left Apple’s design team to return to independent work.

Durrell Bishop arbeitet als Produkt- und Interaktionsdesigner an der Nahtstelle von physischer und digitaler Welt. Ursprünglich im Industriedesign ausgebildet, fasziniert ihn, wie Objekte und ihr Verhalten komplexe Systeme begreifbar machen können. As part of the MA INTER project Ars Augmentata (wise 2026/27) Durrell Bishop is invited for an A.I. Expert Session. He will give a talk and do a workshop.
