JOUR FIXES
In MA modul 1 you research and prepare for your final Master project in MA modul 2.
By 1 February you have chosen 3 staff members to be your examiners (prüfer), see
To prepare yourself for MA modul 2, you choose 2 elective MA expertise courses (theory, technology, methods, studium generale…) AND you find out who of the design staff could support you with your Masterproject as design examiner.
To get familiar,  the design staff  will all give a short talk and introduce themselves before Christmas in jour fixes on Tuesday afternoons.

INTER: MAKE SHIFT
Within the UdK INTER PROGRAM Product Design (Prof. Mathias Hahn & Prof. Ineke Hans) and Visuelle Kommunikation (Prof. Barbara Kotte & Prof. Fons Hickmann) have set up a special multidisciplinary Master talks program: MAKE SHIFT, see sose 2026 and see.
Winter semester 2026/27 four international designers  will visit and discuss with the mixed Masterclasses on Monday or Tuesday afternoons. They will have consultations with the MA students and give a live talks which will be open for all, see more
