Die meisten Kerzenhalter bleiben still, während die Kerze langsam abbrennt. Das fand ich etwas langweilig. Deshalb wollte ich einen Kerzenhalter entwickeln, der den Verlauf der Zeit sichtbar macht. Eine Kerze und ein Gegengewicht halten das Objekt im Gleichgewicht. Während die Kerze abbrennt und leichter wird, dreht sich das Objekt langsam wie ein Uhrzeiger und zeigt so die Bewegung der Zeit.

Balance in Motion – a moving candle holder that makes the passing of time visible.
Most candle holders remain still while the candle slowly burns down. I found this a little boring and wanted to create a candle holder that makes the passing of time visible. The candle and a counterweight keep the object in balance. As the candle burns and becomes lighter, the object slowly rotates like the hand of a clock, showing the movement of time.
